No head, whisky & water coloured body. Apple & oaky aroma. Medium bodied, soft with a short finish. Tangy apple, saccharin, oaked & tannin tastes. Easy going but not really a Scrumpy.

[75cl bottle direct from the Winery.] A bright gold pour; still with an apple blossom aroma; medium dry with a slightly floral taste and quite a lot of tannin. A straightforward still cider, but not really what I think of as Scrumpy.

Many thanks for this cider to Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com). Cydr bez musujacego efektu, barwy jasno bursztynowej w zapachu drewno i upieczona ciepla szarlotka. W smaku niestety wodniste, szarlotka i niemal bez gazu. Ogolnie nie bylo ciekawe dla mnie

Bag in box at the Castle Inn, West Lulworth. It pours clear rich gold in colour. The nose is eart, musty, manure, damp leaves, apple pie and toasted nuts. The taste is dry, musty, sweet apple, manure, some astringency, tannins, tangy, touch of acidity, some sharpness and lemon peel with a very dry, almost astringent finish. Medium bodied and flat. Too much manure for my liking.

500ml bottle. 6%. Clear orange-yellow gold colour, no head and aroma of tart apple, slight barnyard. Taste is tangy bittersweet apple, sourish, with apple skin and vanilla notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite OK.
