A variation of our “classic” ReAle based on hops! Different hop varieties are added during the last 10 minutes of the boil, we add 3 times as much! The result is an explosion of aromas, from citrusy to resins (pine and incense). At the first sip your taste buds will be pleasantly overdriven by its bitterness that lead to a very pleasant and persistent tangerine note.

Bottle shared at Beer Temple tasting. Pours cloudy golden with a small off white head. Aroma is dominated by orange, with grapefruit, citrus, resinous pine and a little caramel. Flavour is light to medium sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Much better than the standard Re Ale.

Sample from bottle, CBF 2012. Hazy orange colour with a white head. Very good aroma with malts, fruits and a bitter, hops-pines note. Taste is bitter with some fruity malts in background. Long, bitter finish with grapefruits, hops and fruity malts. Very well made IPA.

Pours clear golden orange with a large foamy head. Aroma of citrusy hops, fruits, lemon and grapefruit. Taste is citrusy hoppy with some lemon and hops. Finish is sticky and slightly malty with some grapefruit notes. Okay, quite well balanced lemony IPA.

Bottle. Fruity hop aroma. Cloudy dark golden colour. Good fruity vegetable hop flavour. Clean bitterness, distinct but not rough. Good mouthfeel. A little yeast in the aftertaste.

Bottle, 12C. Hazy pale amber with a large white head. Restrained aroma of citrus and stone fruits, caramel. Sweet with lots oranges, also peaches and grapefruit before a long bitter finish with citrus zest and a little pine. Bitterness really creeps up after a while. Creamy mouthfeel with rather too much carbonation. Seems straightforward at first - it’s very orangey - but there’s character under the harmony. Despite the very American hops it’s very European. Invites you in. Fine beer. [3.9]Very lovely; wintery oranges. Just a bit too fizzy.

Bottle in the hotel in Bologna. Breakfast beer! Pours clear, rich gold with a large, frothy white head. Aroma has some citrus, like orange and tangerines, and some spicy pine. Flavor has a strong but restrained sweetness and a rather earthy bitterness. There are touches of honey, with lots of grass, pine, citrus rind and dirt. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Light to medium sweet to finish with a robust, lasting earthy bitterness. Mild sticky pine resins, grass, light caramel, toasty bread. A very nice, well-rounded IPA.
