Be a slave to tedious session bitters no longer! For all its relatively low alcohol, Abolition’s malt bill delivers a full body. The coloured malts also add a slight sweetness as well as the ale’s warm amber hue. British hops alone give an earthy aroma and mid-range bittering. Highly drinkable, you’ll never be parched again.

Fra fat på The Rake sammen med Steven aug-19: klar, rødlig teak med ok skum. Svært beskjeden aroma. Ubestemmelig smak med litt karamellkjeks og mye urteaktig bitterhet (særlig nesler). Waterish and unbalanced. No body to speak og, just an unpleasant start followed by a bitter finish.

Sunday 21st Aug 2016: cask pint in Filey, Yorkshire. Amber bodied, white foaming head. Malty nose, fruity flavour: light malts to the fore in the aroma stakes, taking a backward step in the taste where the hops bloom more and produce a pleasing blend of fruitiness. Decent.
