Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - big thanks to Colin. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, bubbly white head. Has some nice ripening pear, good sweaty acetic kick, some salt, lemon. Light to medium bodied, soft. Finishes with more lemony acidity, ripe and sugary pear, maybe a hint of grass and apple skin. Quite enjoyable overall, though.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - yellow with some yeasty floaters appearing at the end of the pour. Nose - pear, orange (presumably from the hops). Taste - more pears, orange and there's a caramel/honey note that lingers. Palate - close to medium bodied, quite sweet and could be tangier on the finish. Overall - interesting but could be fresher.

500ml bottle direct from Tom Oliver. Thanks Tom. Pours a misty gold, thin white ring atop. Good floral nose, meadow weed. Taste follows similar lines, prominent floral character, underlying hop bitterness, some assorted lime, citrus hop notes that blend well with the naturally wild perry pear fruit. I get how some may find it a little wild and unbalanced, but it's definitely an interesting one. Decent.

Bottle in Meldrum. It pours hazy golden with a small, bubbly white head. The is sweet, oily, dessert pear, pear skin, perfumed, light pine, marzipan, marshmallow and tart tatin. The taste is sweet, ripe pear, oily juicy, light tannin, oak, marshmallow, meringue, honey, tart tatin, citrus peel and pear drops with a sweet, sticky finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not sure the balance is quite there, it is certainly a bit sweet. Fun stuff anyhow.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Green tinged straw colour. Fine haze. No head. Nose has sweet dessert pear. Touch of flora. Some minty herb. Taste is super sweet, with a very light, herbal, fruity bitterness. Medium body. Very light carbonation. Quite oily and maybe a bit greasy. Bittersweet, floral finish. Doesn’t gel too well, this one.

500ml bottle from Oliver's online. Slightly hazy golden colour, white foamy head that slowly dissipates away leaving alittle lacing and spiced hop & pear aroma. Taste is juicy, pear, fleshy, skin, mellow, honey, then citrusy, hop, resiny, spiced, drying tannin, acidic. Slightly syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry spiced almost boozy finish. Interesting, very sippable.
