Cask at the Taphouse in Maldon. Pretty much a clear paleish gold beer, small bubbly white head. Light smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, quite a forward sweetness. Light and sweetish pine and a mild floral elderflower. Mild ripe citrus, mildly tang to it as well. Light finish. Another layered and pretty drinkalble cask affair from MO.

Bottle from Russell & Newnes, Aldeburgh. Golden with a small head. Pleasantly hoppy-sweet, with the latter more gentle sugars than any direct flavours, but good all the same.

Half-pint, cask at the Orange Tree Chelmsford. Shared with Finn. Misty amber body, bubbles on the surface, spotty lacing. Restrained aromas of mild caramel and grassy hops. Quite decent taste of biscuit, grass, and moderate malty sweetness. Earthy malts with a bittersweet bite to the ending. Easy to drink. Fair enough. (Chelmsford 23.11.2021).

Delt med Rune. Gylden. Så vidt litt skumring. Juiceaktig. Bæraroma. Smaken overmodne plommer. Forsiktig tørr bitter avslutning.

Cask-conditioned at the Plough Worcester 19/9/2021. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Leafy hops, light, biscuity malts, hedgerow fruits and a gently bitter, finish. Good. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Jake the Snake on 22 Jan 2011 at 00:01 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: Cask-conditioned at the Wenlock, London 17/1/2011. A pale, golden beer with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus hop with a touch of creamy, sweet malts. Flavour had some grapefruit before a dryish finish. Ok.

Cask: Poured a clear with white head. Aroma is light. Taste is grain, wet light body. Had to get this as I grew up a wrestling fan.
