Thin off white head. Hazy light burgundy pour. Sweet aftertaste.

Can from Marks & Spencer, Birstall. Deeper red in colour and very sweet with its stated red berry flavour. Has plenty of aroma and is moderately bitter-sour in its aftertaste.

440ml can from M&S West Park, Darlington. Deep red colour, pink foam head and sweet berry fruit aroma. Taste is sweet, jammy, berry fruity with raspberry, blackberry flavours. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, sweet finish. Abit artificial

Can at home picked up from Marks and Spencer Carmen. A Depp plummy red coloured pour with a lasting fine deep pink head. Aroma is very artificial, red grape drink, cranberry, plum, sugary sweet, plasyicy sweets. Flavour is composed of sugary sweet, berries and flavouring, little strawberry and red grape, schloer,. Palate is a little thin, sugary, highish carbonation.. Overall pretty sweet and artificial but not that offensive.

Can from M&S Ashford foodhall and drunk at home. Clear dark red colour lasting pink head. Ribena blackcurrant aroma. Kiddie sweets in the mouth. Not much apple character. Finish is sweet. Very drinkable as an alcopop but not much of a cider. I liked the vimto/ribena flavours.

Can from M&S Food Meole Brace. Pours a vivid deep pink, small pinkish white head. Aroma of assorted red berries, blackcurrant cordial, bubblegum. Taste follows with strong Ribena notes and some floral sweet bubblegum elements. Completely unrecognisable as a cider partly due to the concentrate apple, raspberry and blackberry syrups present, with a light body that sees it masquerade more as a refreshing sparkling fruit juice. Refreshing, harmless, but just a touch artificial.
