Our lighter alcohol cider, 3 Point 9 is a thirst-quenching, very versatile cider. Served ice cold, it’s perfect for a summer’s day.

It is well balanced with a blend of sweet apple flavours that refresh the taste buds, without being tart or boisterous. It ends dry and refreshing. There are hints of lemon running in the background and a crispness.

Dagens første pause, vi kjemper nådeløst mot rusten på Fridtjofen aug-19, og da er en slank, ukomplisert og lettdrikkelig cider et behagelig hvileskjær.

500 ml bottle, from Det Gode Brygg, Kvadrat. ABV is, unsurprisingly, 3.9%. Very pale and clear straw colour, moderately sparkling. Distinct aroma of cider apples, apple peel and sulphites, hints of oak. The flavour is moderately sweet (not as sweet as I feared), light bodied of course, but with fairly decent notes of cider apples and eating apples, a hint of sulphites.

500ml bottle from Crafty Nectar. Yellow golden colour with a short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of apple & sulphur. Taste is bittersweet, juicy apple, some apple skin, with slight drying tannin. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry tangy finish. Easy drinking, quite OK.
