Cask sample courtesy of Grumbo from Peterborough beer festival 2019, cheers Graham! Slightly hazy orangey-gold amber colour, creamy white foam head and aroma of malt, hop, formic hint. Taste is sweetish, malt, caramel, with mellow citrus, woody, hop resiny bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carnonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Keg tap at the Parcel Yard, Leicester. Dark brassy gold, hazy. Tiny white head. Noticeable lacing. Melon, papaya, metal and sweat in the aroma. Bittersweet taste with tropical fruit hop to the fore, but also a wine gum sweetness. Long flavourful finish. Good IPA if slightly more by-the-numbers than I’d have liked in a perfect world...

Cask @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival 2016. Pours clear amber, white head. Aroma is smooth caramel. Taste continues, some dried fruits, very light hop presence.. seems to be more about the malt than the hops.

Hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, good fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, mild creamy sweetness. Light marmalade hops, touch of lemon. Mellow floral into modest hop spice. Whisper of something tropical. Fluffy smooth finish. Comes together well, not a shouty IPA but more that the sum of it’s parts.

500ml bottle from The Offie, Leicester. Pours crystal clear amber with a big, frothy white head. Aromas of marmalade, light topical fruit, light spice. Rich, oily, texture. Tate brings a touch more spice. Nicely balanced finish. Great stuff.
