Little bottle shared at homr. Clear golden with white bubbles. Sweet and dry apples, feels like mostly yellow and some red apples. Soft vanilla tone, bit of wood funk. Medium body and soft carbonation. Leaves a very dry mouth. Tasty UK cider with good balance in sweet, tart and bitter apples. Very easy going and likeable from all perspectives. But, like I feel with many UK ciders, also easy to imagine how this can turn into vinegar. The complexity of tannins is not as wide as with the French but I’ll stop whining about that and enjoy my glass.

Bottle at home picked up from Tom Oliver's farm shop. A clear bright golden orange coloured pour with a fine fizz that dissipates. Aroma is mellow tangy apple, melon, apple, little bark. Flavour is composed of semi sweet apple fruit, tang, to drying bark, crisp finish with a little chalk. Palate is semi sweet, crisp, fine carbonation ,semi drying finish. Hides the ABV very well. Very drinkable.

330ml bottle from Scrattings. No indication of what exactly this cider is. Pours clear gold. Aroma is sweet, caramelised apple, taste is fairly sweet, nice oaky tannic shades, a hint of scrumpy funk, soft caramel hints. Good

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours totally clear yellow-gold with a few bubbles that fade away quickly. Lovely cider, just a little funky, just sweet enough, with some bitter apple skins, some cellar must, a little grass, nips of lemon. Light to medium bodied with the slightest spritz. Subtly warming finish, fairly dry. Stellar.

330ml bottle from Scrattings. Golden colour, short-lived thin white foam heead and aroma of leathery funk, tangy apple. Taste is funky, fruity apple, leathery, with some drying tannins. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at home. It pours clear rich golden with a touch of dissipating white head. The aroma is musty, funk, wet hay, apple skins, oiliness, honey, apple crumble, pie crust, light spice and wet leaves. The taste is initially drying, then some soft juicy apple, oily, honey cake, apple skin, decent tannin, woody, baked apple, dull barnyard vibes and earth with a drying finale. Medium body, hint of carbonation and oily mouth feel. Classy and balanced. Sweetness yo balance out the tannins and drying. Quality.

Bottle. Little Leeds Beer House. Clear gold. No head. A few rising bubbles. Nose has matchsticks. Baked dessert apple. Soft, cheesy funk. Polished leather. Taste is sweet and lightly tangy. Light to medium body. Fine carbonation. A tad drying. Baked apple to finish. Ridiculously easy drinking.
