Hand pulled half pint (6.8% ABV) in the Stag and Scotch, a micro pub in Newport, Shropshire on 22nd October 2025. Apples, strong and dry feel to this one.

One last cider for 2024. A sweet effort, golden with a full texture, with plenty of appealing apple to hide its strength.

Box @ Boot. Misty yellow appearance. Sweet, sugary apple nose. Light, juicy body. Seems artificially sweetened but has a little more character than expected with mild scrumpy hints and boiled apple sweets finish.

From cask at The Lyric, near Piccadilly Circus with my brother and his family after doing the Karl Marx walking tour 14.08.22. Cloudy pale pear colour. Fine aroma and taste of red apples and pear peel. Dangerously quaffable.

BIAB at Hull Real Ale & Cider Fest 2019. Hazy yellow gold colour, bubbly foam head and aroma of mushy pulpy apple. Taste is sweetish apple, pulpy, some skin and core, with caramel & honey hints. Medium bodied, low soft carbonation, semi-dry finish. OK

Cask at the Dove, Ipswich. Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma of apple, caramel, and cider vinegar. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness and sour. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Sharp cider vinegar finish.

Bag in a box at The Pantiles Tap Tunbridge Wells, Hazy pale gold no head. Some stewed apple. Some abv obvious. Bit hot. OK. Mostly stewed cooking apples. OK.
