440ml can from Station. Pours black with a commendable deep tan head. Aroma has alluring chocolate, hazelnut, roast. Taste is similarly rich with a full, smooth sweet dark malt body, lots of praline, hazelnut, milk chocolate, roasted malts, coffee. Excellent hazelnut chocolate imperial porter.

30 November 2018. Billie's Craft Beer Fest. Cheers to Anke, tderoeck & 77ships! Cloudy black with a lasting, thin, dark beige head; little lacing. Intense aroma of hazelnut & milk chocolate praliné, coffee & cream, cappuccino, coffee liqueur, chocolate sauce, tiramisu. Medium malty sweet onset carries notes of cream, milk chocolate & praliné, balanced out by a light roasted bitterness that has coffee roast, earth & fondant with a slightly nutty edge. Dryish, earthy & peppery hoppy finish, quite malty too, more chocolate & coffee roast, firm dash of warming coffee liqueur alcohol. Medium, almost full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Intensely roasted & creamy but balanced, very nice brew.

Sampled at Billies 2018. Opaque black color, virtually no head. Smell and taste are malts, heavy mocha, chocolate, chocolate bitter but also light sweet notes. Medium body and suitable decent to medium carbonation. Nice. 8-4-7-3-15.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Billie’s Beer Festival 2018. Day 1. Black. Nose is 100 % roasted coffee & fresh good coffee. Taste is coffee syrup basically, maximum fresh coffee, coffee beans, syrup, mocha, cacao, pure syrup, intense & highly tasty, almost overkill.
