Single hop awesomeness, shining a spotlight on our favourite ingredient, the not so humble hop. Ace of Citra has the ultimate poker face - this session IPA is low in strength but has an ace in the hole - devastating hoppy aroma & flavour.
This session IPA has been bombarded with Citra. Mango, pine and grapefruit explode from the glass, firing off from a light, complex toasty malt base. Low voltage, high amplitude hops, in their purest form.

330ml bottle into glass. Hazy amber beer with thin white head. Light carbonation. Earthy, Herby nose with strawberry notes. Good body, smooth texture. Short malty finish. Superior IPA, super easy drinking.

An orange beer, a head is small and white. Aroma has grapefruits, mandarin, tropical fruitness, some fructose. Taste has grapefruits, tropical mangos, quite mild bitterness. Almost medium bodied, low carbonation. Aromatic and easy to enjoy.

Bottle 330ml. @ BrewDog Brussels, Putterie 20, Brussels, Belgium 1000. [ As BrewDog Ace of Citra ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, tropcial fruit, fruity hops, pale malt, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160916] 8-3-7-3-15

Tap at B33Galery. Golden color with medium white head. Nice citrus hoppy aroma with some zest. Taste, caramel malt, followed by nice citrus, zest, light pines. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Good.

330 ml bottle, batch 160527, from Joker Vatlandsvåg. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour, thin white head. The aroma has weak notes of fruity hops, hints of catpiss, boullion, cooked vegetables and smelly feet. Dry flavour, some citrussy and piney hops, but not really great. Won’t buy again.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa. Oh well, I was expecting explosion of bitterness and... And I didn’t get it :( Still it was nice session IPA. I will be happy to drink it again.
