Single hop awesomeness, shining a spotlight on our favourite ingredient, the not so humble hop. Ace of Citra has the ultimate poker face - this session IPA is low in strength but has an ace in the hole - devastating hoppy aroma & flavour.
This session IPA has been bombarded with Citra. Mango, pine and grapefruit explode from the glass, firing off from a light, complex toasty malt base. Low voltage, high amplitude hops, in their purest form.

330ml bottle from Prisma. BBE 07/08/17. Pours orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, mango, caramely malts and hints of pine. Taste is smooth, slightly caramely and stuffy with hints of citrusy hops and pine. Finish is stuffy and slightly watery with hints of fruits and citrus. A bit dull, doesn’t feel very fresh.

Magic Beer Room. Misty yellow-golden body with a small white head. Blueberry and herbal aroma. Light herbal and fruity hoppy dry taste, pefrumey enough. Yup, a tasty Citra-driven session IPA. No surprise there!

Brewdog Ace of Citra 4.5% A lovely brass color with a sweet citra fruity hop bouquet. Light bodied and dry with crackery soda bread malt character and sweet fruity hoppiness. A good beer to start the night. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bright clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry. Reasonable fine carbonation. Light clean malts. Watery citric hop, mild skunk. Smooth light finish. This series not doing it for me, bring back IPA is Dead.

12/XI/16 - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ home - BB: 5/VIII/17 (2016-1301) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark blond to orange beer, big irregular yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, some lacing in the glass. Aroma: grapefruit, somewhat cheesy, smelly feet, bit dank, fruity, passion fruit, some caramel, kiwi notes and lychee. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sour start, lemony, soft bitterness, dank, bit resinous, watery touch. Aftertaste: grapefruit, bitter, citrus, bit resinous, fruity, watery. I liked the Ace of Chinook so much better, despite this one being 4 months fresher...
