Single hop awesomeness, shining a spotlight on our favourite ingredient, the not so humble hop. Ace of Citra has the ultimate poker face - this session IPA is low in strength but has an ace in the hole - devastating hoppy aroma & flavour.
This session IPA has been bombarded with Citra. Mango, pine and grapefruit explode from the glass, firing off from a light, complex toasty malt base. Low voltage, high amplitude hops, in their purest form.

Smell of grass, vegetables. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of grass, vegetables, hops, herbs. Medium bitter, wild carbon. Too hipster for me.

Bottle from BrewDog online shop. Light gold, almost clear. Little head bit a truckload of visible carbonation. Big citra smell with grapefruit and pineapple. The taste is more complex, with a biscuity malt taste rising above the expected hop bitterness. The pleasant bittersweet finish makes up for the watery palate. Another tasty BrewDog beer slightly outside the box.

Keg at BD Soho, 30/09/16. Golden orange with a decent off White cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is orange pith, grains, toasted bread, straw, grassy. Taste comprises orange peel, melon, light bread, tangerine, citric kissed straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a little prickle, semi drying close doused with grassy hop bitterness. Decent enough session gear.

Bottled. Amber colour with a slight off-white head. Aroma is grass, some pine needles, spruce as well as some slight citrus and mild toffee. Flavour is smoothly grassy bitter along with a nice crisp maltiness on one side and quite much citrus and spruce on the other. Refreshing.
