Pours black. Mocha cream , stable, rather small head. Scent is harsh, soy, roast. Espresso. Taste is bit bitter, soy, (green) coffee. Bit bitter. Doesnt really taste like mussels obviously, tad salty perhaps, but im not that sensitive to salt tbh. Mostly annoyed by the espresso/soy character, which you can encounter in other stouts as well. Nothing off, just not my kind of stout.

(Draught at Moeder Lambic Original, Brussels, 18 Oct 2019) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, cacao, liquorice and a generous coffee bitterness. Almost full body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well made imperial stout. Very nice.
