330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Bottled 22/12/16. Pours orange with a foamy head. Aroma of strawberries, caramely malts, hints of herbal notes and off notes. Taste is slightly sour and hoppy with some strawberries, hints of caramely malts, herbal hops and grass. Finish is weird and messy with some berries, earthiness, mild sourness and herbal hops. Feels a bit off.

Dense, just yellowish medium head over veiled orangeish golden beer. Spicy, herbal nose, garden herbs, wild hops, embalment. Extremely bitter/dry, rootspices, concentrated herbs, as in swallowing dry herbs for God knows what infusion; grapefruitpeel; and again something pharmaceutical as a salve or unction. Resinous, mounting in time. Wry, dry and CO²; light to medium bodied. Really - what was the idea? Concentrated IPA tea?

Bottle at Bruce’s Birthday batch @Craft Islington. It pours hazy pale orange with a small white head. The nose is pine, sticky resin, orange peel, juicy grapefruit and light barnyard. The taste is pine, resin, orange peel, grapefruit, light floral, ambergris, wood and pepper with a dry, firmly bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather well-balanced. One of Partizan’s best IPAs.

Craft Islington. Brucie Boys Birthday Bash. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and fresh. Really nice floral vibe here with fruity candy sherbet. Tangerine citrus provides contrast. Lovely. Must get a fresh bottle, this was great onthe dregs!

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours clear, bright gold with lively effervescence and a large, frothy white head. Semi-ripe orange in the aroma with minerals, tangerine and dry pine. Medium sweet flavor with nips of alcohol, rich citrus fruits, grapefruit, light hop oils, orange rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Resinous and warming to finish with oily pine, juicy orange, tangerine and grapefruit, some papaya and mango. Delicious and nicely balanced. Quite a good effort here.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Hazy to cloudy amber to gold colour lasting white head. Slight green leaf subtle herb on the aroma. I mean it’s not bad. It’s a fresh green herb/veg thing I can’t place. Nice enough in the mouth and some lovely hop on the finish and pepper bitterness. Good but not as good as the Citra.
