True to it’s roots, this American IPA delivers on the floral, hoppy notes that made Cottonwood a Boone favorite. 100% malted barley and copious amounts of Cascade, Magnum, and Chinook hops do the trick, artfully brewed by Foothills

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with a light touch of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of hops. A low key IPA.

Bottle from Beer_Hawk; Nose of hops, but not real heavy; Color is medium brown with a vert small beige head; flavor has some light caramel and mild hop bitterness. Not as hoppy as several pale ales I’ve recently rated! Pretty color but not much hoppiness for an IPA!

Thanks to Suttree for this beer. It has a powerful hop aroma and one of the darkest IPAs I have had. Not much head on the low side for carbonation. Smooth palate, and mildly bitter flavor of hops. Not especially heavy or overly flavorful, but a solid session IPA. I do have a very light hop burn.

Bottle. Sour berry and hops aroma - a bit like mashed strawberries. Dark amber color with small head. Light berry flavor initially followed by a moderate hops flavor - got a strong metallic taste with my first sip but that seems to fade with more tasting. I would really love this beer if it didn’t have the metallic taste to it.

Hazy amber-red colour. Woody, bitter orange aroma with earthy, brown sugar malts. Quite sweet on the palate, sticky crystal malts dominate the woody, earthy hops. Bump up the scores a bit if you dig lots of crystal in your IPA.

Bottle. Pretty good drink. Orange color, slight foam. Tastes like a pretty decent and standard IPA. Dry finish, and all around great beer.

Hazy, particle-rich copper red body, thick, creamy tan head. Earthy, citric hops aroma with tangy caramel and toast notes. Relatively delicate, malty body, with biscuits, toast, and light caramels, along with citric (but not too bitter) and earthy hops. This is definitely a session IPA, geared towards drinkability and flavor rather than palate-exhausting bitterness and rindiness. In the "red ale" category. Thanks Dan (jah noth) for the trade!

Bottle Pours a clear, nice deep amber with a tall off white head that quicly settles out. Aroma of sweet malts and soft hops. Caramel and butterscotch also. Flavors are an off ensemble of biter woody hops and strange vegetable skins. Very strange. I might be temptd to say that it is unintentional. Metalic and burnt. Grassy bitter aftertaste. I keep looking for a bottled dateonm this thing. Aftraid what I may find.

Brewed with "Altitude" and "dry-hooped" eh? Bottle from Hop and Leaf Feb 2005. Deep copper-amber color, with strong tinges of auburn and orange. Clear, with an off-white head that dissipates lazily, leaving some lace. Pretty basic PNW IPA. The hops do give off more than just pure citrus bitterness, there is some fruitiness in there. Quite fresh tasting, a bit dry on the malt side. I think wohlfs just about nailed the review. This one showcases the fresh hops, and leaves only some light grains to balance.
