Bottled, with Fil & Ryan, thanks! Dark copper body, off-white head. Caramel, dried fruit, prunes mostly in the malty aroma. Soft, minerally taste, light dried fruit, bit caramelly - a decent macro I reckon!

For a macrobrewery, in my opinion, it is a decent one, nice notes of malt, caramel, hop, alcohol, well balanced, perfect for the winter, drinking it various times at Oaxaca between 2004 and 2010, during my differents trips in Mexico.

Bottle. Clear and light brown in color. Nice off white head. Nice lace. Aroma is really malty. Taste is bread. Molasses after-taste. Kind of watery.

27/3/2021. Can shared at the lockdown virtual beer. Cheers Grumbo. Aroma of wheat, grassy and caramel. Finish with a slightly nutty taste.

Notes from January 2011 Estilo Bock 2010 edition This beer was thrown into the communal ice bucket during New Years, where it lingered & subsequently became property of the operator of the establishment... me. :D A sticky glob of parchment-colored Cool Whip floats a top my Ommegang Anniversary glass. Clear antique maple wood stain, with a rich deep orange hue. Erratic misshapen lace blots the glass. Smells big of malted cereal, brown sugar, & grain alcohol. Oxidized potatoes, leather, & sticky beer residue make up smaller nuances. Glassy texture. Metallic charr, with caramel notes. Bland grain. Beef broth?! Newspaper. This bottle is CostCo fresh, but tastes old. Thin. Carbonation is lively. The finish is subtly sweet with some yet to be determined starch(boiled corn husks?). I could maybe swallow this better with some Ritz crackers & some of those ugly gift basket cheese spreads I've been gifted over the holidays. But then I wouldn't have any ammo left to pass off to unwanted guests.

Poured from 355mL bottle. Chill hazed amber with small beige head. Vegetal and mild toffee malt, not much going for this, meh. Unimpressive.

355mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma reveals herbal notes, bready malt, and vegetal notes. Flavour is very light, with vegetal notes, bready malt, and herbal notes. Too vegetal, lifeless palate. Useless.
