Hazy, light tan. No head. The aroma is unattractive, phenolic. There isn’t much going on here...watery...not much character. No real bitterness.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out lots of pepper upfront, with some spices (especially coriander). Flavour is very unusual, with notes of pepper, vinegar, perfume, and some spices. Loads of cosmetic and spicy notes. This is undrinkable. Loads of issues here.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark brass colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Herbal-spicy aroma, hints of green pepper. Taste is spicy, slighty sweet caramel malty, minimally papery, notes of white pepper, red pepper, constantly accumulating peppery spiciness. OK.

BKL2016. Hay malt aroma, light herbs, a bit spice. Light grey milky yellow. Slightly papery malt, some herbs, don’t detect much pepper. Tastes a bit like your standard landbier.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Freigeist Original Pfefferkørner White ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, peppery, ceddar wood alike. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, pale malt, pepper, ceddar wood, spicy, white pepper. Amsterdam Pubcrawl 2016, @Tap Zuid, van tap. wazig amber/gouden met witte kraag. enorm peperig aroma, fris, floraal en wat fruitig, Smaken bevatten een flinke dosis witte/zwarte peper, zachte co2, scherp,. matig tot redelijk zoet, stro, gras, erg bijzonder en best wel ok... maar ik zou er zeker géén hele fles van op kunnen denk ik, delen is prima.

On tap at Tap Zuid. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of peppercorns, white pepper, some citrus, wheat. Flavour is mostly peppercorn and white pepper, soft lemon zest, wheat, spicy, peppery finish. Light bodied, soft mouthfeel. Good, actually.
