From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild grainy and toasted malty. Mild teaish. Smooth fruity and slight peachy. Toasted and mild fruity finish.

Draft sample @ Leuven Beer Innovation 2015, shared with the RB Belgian crew.

Due to artificial coloured illumination, appearance not estimable, arbitrary 4/5 Draught Dry, obvious black or white pepper, bit of pale malts. Pepper, dry biscuits, not much else. Light to medium, medium carbonation, slick. Even when repeating myself, pepper, yes, and not much else.

Apparently a Weissbier spiced with Kampot pepper corns from Cambodja... From tap at Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Very thick and rocky, dense, yellowish white head, misty peach blonde colour. Aroma indeed dominated by pepper corns, of the kind you’d use in a steak au poivre dish - if you like pepper, and I do, this is a beer for you. There are more subtle accents of honey, obviously wheat, apple and white bread too. Soft, restrained fruitiness, bit pineapple, bit peach, sweetish, basic wheat sourishness, and of course the aromatic, spicy, tangy white pepper taste in the finish, but actually much more subtle and ’gentle’ than I had expected. Nice and interesting novelty, thanks to 77ships for recommending me this at the festival.

Trübes orange goldenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch nach Pfeffer, sehr malzig. Geschmack sehr hopfig, dann scharf malzig, viel Pfeffer.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled draft @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Orange, little white head. Nose is huge, huge delicious pepper, crazily in your face with light wheat in the back. Taste is huge pepper, lots of it with light wheat, sweetish base way in the back, touch milky, white bread,… Body is a tad milky. The pepper is amazing, the base is adequate but could be so much more. Someone make a better base beer & use this pepper please. Still quite a nice beer.

24/V/15 - on tap @ LIBF (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2015-709) Thanks to the Belgian (and Dutch, and...) RB crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear pale blond beer, creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: soapy, freshly ground pepper, red pepper, green pepper corns. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: peppercorn all right... slightly fruity, not much else, just very peppery. Aftertaste: very spicy, peppercorns, that's about it. The beer does what it's name promises, but that doesn't mean it's very good.
