Baltic Porter with plums created with our Polish friends AleBrowar. Dark color with rubin relfexes and an exuberant red fruits marmalade, caramelized sugar, molasses and soy. Finish reminds of black bitter tannic tea and gives it a unique taste.

On tap at Bierlokaal De Uiver. Weird to see this listed under AleBrowar if it's brewed at Brewfist. Anyway: Black colour, beige head. Aroma is quite sweet, dominated by the prunes, some roast, hint of chocolate, pumpernickel. Flavour is sweet, prunes, milky, roasted malts, malty, sugary, sweet finish with some sticky roast and molasses. Medium bodied. Too sweet for me.

Draft sample @ ML Original.

Draft glass @ CML Saint-Gilles. Black, thick creamy lacing mocha head. Nose is very thick licorice, roots, far too much bark, licorice, marmite even, thick fig syrup, syrup the Liège, overly heavy as far as all those things go. Taste is licorice, thick herbal, syrup, far too heavy on licorice, bark, umami, marmite even, too extreme, syrup de Liège, fig syrup, chicori. Far too much of all of those qualities, this is difficult to drink, too much. Body is marmite, molasses, very thick syrup, very heavily herbal, umami. Brutal, too much for me to fully enjoy, the right person will adore it.
