33cl bottle from Hopduvel.

Bottle at home - 21/09/12. Very lightly hazed golden with a thin off-white head. Belgian yeasts on the nose, grass, citrus fruits, a little biscuit, light toffee and spice. Yeast in the taste, citrus, spice and a little alcohol but fairly well hidden for 9%. Medium plus in body with a little carbonation but well pitched. Decent representation of a tripel.

330ml bottle. Pours dark orange with a large, frothy head. Aroma is wheaty with coriander. Taste has wheaty coriander to start with a sweet basil and lemon finish. Some alcohol warmth.

Bottle at home. Bottled 2011. Slightly hazy amber colour with a pretty big frothy and a bit compact and off-white head. Nice sweet and fruity aroma with belgian yeast. I sence oats, hay and tropical fruits in a lovely mix in the nose, and a touch of herbs in the end. More of the sweet and fruity stuff in the flavour as well. Soft and slick mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. A very good and rich tripel that feels a bit different than others. Maybe more amber malt than other tripels.

25 cl. draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft // near clear golden amber, nicely lacing but not big white head // smell is very sweet, honey, honey cereal, huge amounts of candy sugar, bread dough, white sugar, flowers, nectar // taste is sweet, sweet, candy sugar, lots of honey cereal, honey, white bread dough and white bread sugar, slight floral bitterness to it, hints of sweet grains, enjoyable, probably not for long, standard of the style over here is bitter with a sweet touch this is clearly the other way around // light honey body, oily, not terrible carb.

Thick set, creamy, cream-coloured head, slowly receding over dark orange beer. Very aromatic nose, fruity (mainly citrus), vegetable, but also caramel, alcohol and candi sugar. More citrus, orange, but also coriander; Orange(peel) on alcohol, Mandarine Napoléon,liqueurish. Thankfully, served rather cold, the coriander is not disturbing. Warming up, obviously more (rest)sweetness. Quite dry, slick to oily, medium bodied at least, alcoholwarming. Not half bad...

330mL bottle, pours a hazy orange amber with a big white head and lots of sediment. Aroma of metallic notes, fresh wet wood, Belgian yeast, phenols - very odd - is this how it's supposed to be? Flavour of spicy hops, Belgian yeast, floral notes, some of the wet wood, phenols, and almost a peppercorn like spice. Very bizarre mix of flavours. Nothing offensive, just bizarre and a bit disharmonious. Not sure what Mikkel was going for here but I don't think it quite works. Not his best by a long shot.

Draught, Brew Dog, Manchester. Hazy orange looks with a small off white head. Fragrant, yeasty nose. Oily mouthfeel. Sweet flavour with some fruits and yeast, but all too prominent booze. Disappointingly average. Miss.
