Bottle at home. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, and liquorice. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Pleasant Stout.

Voici un travail sérieux de la part de la brasserie LMNOP avec un stout sur des arômes de café et chocolat agréables et bien affirmés, une présence en bouche appréciable et une bonne longueur. On est cependant très académique. Pas de fioriture, pas de réelle complexité. On en reste donc au stade d'une bière de bon niveau. En verre, le noir est total avec une mousse brune de 3 mm. Au nez nous avons café et chocolat : simple et efficace. L'attaque commence la dégustation piano avec du caramel, légèrement chocolaté. C'est à partir de la deuxième bouche qye les arômes se font plus intenses avec une très bonne présence en bouche. Café, chocolat et caramel sont bien soutenus par une belle amertume (travail simple sur de l'apollo mais efficace avec un IBU de 89 amenant la fraîcheur nécessaire) et un alcool à 7,8 % soutenant bien les arômes. L'arrière bouche d'une bonne ampleur est moins portée sur le café mais bien soutenue par l'amertume. La troisième bouche, la plus amère laisse alors place au final d'une bonne longueur avec de beaux arômes de café. Bien équilibrée ce stout, bien que classique se laisse savourer.

Bottle at Kent Beer Festival 2017. Black beer lasting tan head. Rich dark chocolate aroma. Smooth in the mouth. A little roast coffee bean. A little paper dryness. Very good.

Bottle. Color: Almost black. Big, very dense and long lasting light brown head. Taste: Full body. Espresso, earthy, roasted malts. Hints of herbs, iron. On the sweet side, but also hopbitter. Lots of soft carbonation, smooth. Pretty warm mouthfeel. Bitter coffee finish. Very nice stout.

Bottle from Drank van de Meisjes, small sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, dark bread. Roasty bitterness in taste, bready, coffee. Ok.

Opaque black - brown beer, good darkish tan head. Palate is airy and fairly dry. Decent fine carbonation. Smooth but dry dark malts. Malty dark chocolate. Mild dark malt tang. Whisper of spice. Light semi dry finish. It’s a smooth easy drinking stout but there are hundreds more very similar out there.

50cl, donker bruin/zwart met enorme fijn bruine kraag, met erg veel co2 tijdens het schenken. aroma van mout, chocolade, geroosterde en gebrande mouten en koffie. smaken zijn vol, glad en romig, iets scherp (peper), alcohol, veel te veel co2, matig tot redelijk zoet, zwak bitter, chocolade, geroosterde mout, caramel, koffie, laurier, drop, rookmout, redelijke body, maar over het algemeen gaat.... bitter-alcoholisch in de afdronk.

50cl Bottle at Drie Dorstige Herten. Black colour, big beige head. Aroma of caramel, black liquorice, chocolate, roasted malts. Flavour is sweet, roasted malts, coffee, some chocolate, caramel, lots of liquorice, sticky bittersweet finish. Medium bodied, slightly over - carbonated. Nice Foreign Stout.
