12 oz. bottle. Pale mass market beer color. Slightly skunky smell from the clear glass bottle stuck in a case under florescent lights. First taste has a note of candy. Still, like many AB beers, I can at least pick out a note of hops. But then that odd, sweet candy note returns.

Bottle: Poured a super light yellow color lager with a small fizzy head with almost no retention. Aroma consists of light corn adjunct. Taste is dominated by lightly sweet adjunct with almost no other discernable characteristics. Body is quiet watery with average carbonation. This one was a very light and watery version of a macro.

Bottled@Monks CafΓ© Wallingatan. Golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is mild rice, some grains and mild hops and rubber. Flavour is being rather much the same. Dull.

Pours straw yellow. Nose and taste of corn, corn and more corn. Some cardboard in the aroma. A poor man’s Corona. Take that for what its worth.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a very pale yellow with medium white head. Medium lacing, very light body, and low carbonation. Taste is light malt (mostly corn) with a little hop in the finish.

12 oz bottle. Smells of corn, other grains; slightly tart even. Pours pale yellow with a medium head, nice lacing. Tastes kind of sweet. Medium bodied. Very smooth and drinkable. Not bad at all for this style.

Interesting name. Bottle. I couldn’t find the beer. It seemed that some large animal, possibly a camel, had emptied out the beer and pissed in the bottle, then carefully replaced the cap. Shame. It has a cute bottle and might be an interesting beer if I could ever find one with beer in it.

Overall Impression: What would it taste like if Bud made a Corona knockoff? Exactly. Not awful with a lime, but certainly not a good beer. Watery and boring

Yellow lager. Corn, rice. Decent palate, and not so bad, for what it is.

If A-B is good at one thing, its imitating the flavor of other crappy beers! They did it with Heineken (Bud World Select) and with Shiner Bock (Zeigenbock). Now I discover LandShark after moving to FL and lo and behold its a Corona clone through and through. Similar corn yellow color, sweet corny palate and finish that lacks hops entirely.
