Coffee Milk Stout
A little brewers' magic transforms locally roasted Arabica beans and a variety of specialty malts into a creamy, intense coffee stout. Enjoy before it disappears.
Arabicadabra is brewed with a cold coffee extract made at the brewery using a combination of fair trade, organic Nicaraguan coffee beans and Sumatra coffee beans. Lactose is also used for creaminess (those with dairy allergies or sensitivities should take note). It was inspired by Milchkaffe, another specialty Bell's beer.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy dark brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was brewed coffee, cream, milk, cocoa and roasty malts. The flavor was sweetish with brewed coffee, cream, roasty malt and a bit of wood. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

Bottle. A- Black coffee, roasted peppers, slightly spicy. A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Earthy, roasted peppers, coffee, mild cocoa, mild bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- A lot of earthy and vegetal aspects I did not suspect. Thought there would be a lot more sweetness and it would have more of a mocha flavor. Not bad but not quite a sweet stout in my opinion. Too roasty and earthy. Awesome and clever name though.

Black with a tan head. Initially strikes me as a near match for a cafe au lait. Coffee, cocoa, earthy, light sweetness. Finish is dry and roasted. Very nice.

Bottle. Deep garnet-brown body with translucent edges; medium clumping light brown head. Strong roasted coffee nose. Medium-bodied, roasty, bitter with light lactic sweetness, but overall primarily tannic-woody. Well-balanced and pleasant, if not a standout.

On draught at Brass Tap. Black pour with a medium frothy tan head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of coffee, chocolate and malt. Light-bodied with a roasty coffee and malt character, with some milk chocolate in the background. The finish is creamy with a mocha aftertaste. Above average overall.
