330ml bottle. Opalescent, amber colour with average, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Minimally bready, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana, hints of dried banana, banana bread, crisp bread, a touch of clove and juniper berry, phenolic overtones. Taste is wheaty malty and yeasty spicy, slightly herbal, minimally yeasty fruity, hints of juniper berry, some clove, laurel, a weak touch of banana. Creamy-oily texture, smooth and super soft, minimally greasy palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Quite spicy, very nice, though not exactly style-compliant mouthfeel - OK.

On tap at ACBF’16 with Borresteijn, Kermis, Zlotta & the Queen of Whales. Cloudy yellow color. White head. Aroma’s: wheat, light sour. Flavor is light sweet, wheatish. Light bodied, quite thin. Not much of a finish. Not bad but uninspiring.

0.33 l bottle from ’Slagerij Bart Ridder’ (Ouderkerk), bottled in April 2016. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white to tan head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, cloves, some vanilla and hints of pear. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, clove, some vanilla and a bit of pear, followed by a short, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy and a little chalky finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Decent and typical Hefeweizen, finally not just a Witbier without adjuncts. Quite refreshing as well, yet nothing special.
