Vom Faß im Forsthaus Templin, Juli 2013. - Orangefarben, trüb. Mild-zartfruchtige Aromafülle, ähnlich einem Kellerbier. Reife Aprikosen.

(Test vom 8.5.2009) --> 12,13,13,13,12,14 - 13,25

Draught @ Brewpub
Pours hazy yellow with a small head. Aroma of raw dough, grass, grainy malts and earthy notes. Taste is sweetish, grassy and malty with hints of earthy notes. Finish is smooth, sweetish and malty. Clean and balanced.

Yellow color with medium white head. Grainy aroma, with hints of citrus. Sweet finish. Nothing special, but drinkable.

500ml bottle. Hazy yellow glowing golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Husk aroma, hay, straw, cautious fruity background has hints of apple and pear. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, has a tart, fruity touch, husky overtones as well as a spicy, yeasty touch; lively carbonation. Nice, refreshing, well-balanced without being too lovely.

Flaske hos Einar på Nørrebro: 4,8% økopils. Kortvarig skum og underkarbonert. Ellers ok pils men ikke noe mer.

500ml that came in a swing-top bottle, bought at Kihoskh, shared at the Absalon tasting session ’12. Airy, white head, cloudy golden body. Aroma of sweet ripe fruits. Ripe fruity taste joined by grainy malts. Butter sweet ending. Very so-so (Hotel room Copenhagen, 12.05.2012).

Shared swingtop bottle at hotel room tasting, thanks to Rune. Hazy golden colour. Strong aroma of pale wort and honey. Tolerably malty flavour, but the hops are too moderate.

One cold January Sunday (Jan 2012) afternoon I visited the brewpub and tried all four beers available: this being the third. It came semi-cloudy in a tall glass containing 0.3 litres, the head an off-white cap of bubbles, body wise the colour was pale amber. I don’t want to suggest this brewpub have one standard brew then tinker with the mash to produce slightly different beers, but that does appear to be the case as this could easily have been a blend of the Hell and Dunkel. A little more ‘yeasty’ in the smell and taste maybe; but otherwise very ‘samey’ to my first two beers in the bar. They advertise as being an ‘Alles Bio-Biere’ Brewery, if that makes any difference? Anyway I enjoyed it, even though I’d had two of its half brothers already that afternoon. It had more depth of body even though the alcohol level was down 0.1% ABV compared to the other beers.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colcour. Light malty and hoppy slightly cheasy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average lighte bitter finish. Oily palate. Too cheasy/acetylic.
