F: huge, tan to tanned, long lasting C: dark brown, hazy, opaque. A: heavy malty, fruity, plums, caramel, bit toffee, bit vinous, some citrus, herbal, bit peat like phenols. T: malty backbone, plums, dark dried fruits, caramel, light roasted tones, chocolate, herbal, decent bitterness, dry to medium dry on the palate, sure this is not for saison style but not bad balanced beer, really enjoyable, full body and medium carbonation, 33cl bottle from Brasserie 28 by Caulier in Brussels.

330ml bottle. Hazy, dark brown colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Fruity, slightly spicy and bready malty aroma, notes of red and blue berries, cherry, dark bread. Taste is sweet-ish, dark malty, slightly chocolately, fruity notes of blue and red berries, cherry, some rye spiciness, some black pepper, a minimally alcoholic touch in the finish; full body, average to lively carbonation lends fresh- and lightness. Good.

24/VIII/16 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ Erwin's Ponton Tasting and BBQ - BB: 12/XI/17 (2016-918) Thanks to Klaas for sharing the bottle!

Bit cloudy deep orange beer, creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet ripe fruits, some jam, some exotic fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, quite some tropical fruits, nice bitterness, bit soapy. Aftertaste: pretty hoppy, tropical fruits, resinous, bitter, ripe fruits, some alcohol, fruity. More a DIPA than a double saison, but ok.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, consumed at home making home made Pork Pies, Sunday 31st July 2016 Pours mid/dark brown I poured it a little carelessly so some muck from the bottom went in so unsure if it’d have been cloudy or clear. Plenty of rye it’s a big beer, fruity with citrus showing but sweeter, sort of in a marmalade fashion, this enveloping the tastebuds. Spicy with some yeastiness (not surprising considering how I poured this. A bit chewy but very pleasant. A7 A3 T7 P4 OV15 3.6

At a tasting, thanks, small stable stiff bubbly head, cloudy murky dark red to light brown color, yeast and yoghurt aroma, slightly smelly with some sour bread, caramel flavor with some citrus and shrubs and a light yeastiness in the back, quite sweet, a little too much. Fair but not that great.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 12/11/2017, lotto# L15059.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Muddy amber colour with a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with spicy hints, rye malts, citrus fruits and caramel malts. Taste is lightly bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter. Odd.
