330ml bottle at a bar in Braga, Portugal. Near black in colour, with a thin, beige, head. A sweet stout, with some chocolate fondant, light toastiness and caramel in the finish. Fine.

200ml draught, guest beer at A Fábrica da Picaria. Ruby dark body, covering fawn-coloured head, clingy lacing. Moderately smell of roasted dark bread, mid-sweet. Moments of coffee-chocolate to the taste profile followed by a roasted malty ending. A bit short and thin, but quite alright. (Porto, 09.09.2023).

Can. No idea what it looks like because I was too lazy to get a glass. Caramel, a hint of roasted malts, plums, milk chocolate. Quite sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied. Actually not as bad as I feared, it’s not great but quite drinkeable.

Clear dark brown beer, big creamy beige head, unstable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: caramel malts, some chocolate, malty, smells pretty promising actually! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malts up front, chocolate notes, good bitter roast, some sweet caramel. Aftertaste: bitter, roasted, malty.

200 ml bottle, from a minimarket in Funchal. ABV is 5.0%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Moderate roasty aroma, hints of coffee and dark chocolate. Smooth flavour, with the same elements. Nice enough to drink, but has no real «personality».
