Fruit, spice and sweet malt on the nose. The big roasted malt presence continues into the taste profile. The spiciness softens and there are faint fruity hop notes. On the slick and dense side. OK, but is a bit out of balance and lacks definition in its tastes.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a slightly hazy amber/copper with a medium off white head. Bready aroma, brown sugar, sweet malts, no hops. medium mouth feel, soft carb. Low bitterness, lots of caramels, bready cereals. meh. run of the mill.

Nice malty-estery aroma. Rich malts and caramel with a very well balanced body.

A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light caramel notes, grassy hops, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. On tap at brewery.

This amber poured a deep amber colour with a creamy, off white head. Minimal lacing. Scents include sweet malt, dough and floral hops. First swig was mild on carbonation and very creamy with flavours of caramel, a little tea and slightly bitter with hops. Finish is thickly medium sweet with a bitter flavour lingering.

Pours a deeper amber colour with a beautiful creamy-foamy beige head, good retention and creamy lacing. Big aromas of toasted cereal malts, quite nutty with some toffee and hints of hops. The taste starts off a little too sweet, but calms down quickly with some nuttiness lingering with the light hops. Some decent dryness in the finish. A little too rich is some parts, but an overall good first brew for this brewery.
