This beer has a rich and complex malt flavor balance with a bit of spicy noble hops. The peach is very subtle but noticeable, with a dry finish from the champagne yeast in the 2nd fermentation in the French Chardonnay barrels.

Bottle from France 44. Pours orange with a transient beige head. Aroma is peach, but brought Glass Wax to mind. Med body. Flavor is tart peach with enough sugar to call sweet/tart. Heat hovers. I think more peaches would improve it. Finishes rather dry, and very mildly worth. Missed kick-ass.

On tap at the Yokohama Brewer’s Cup. It poured a cloudy orange gold with a foamy head. The peach aroma was pronounced but nice. The flavor was boozy & peachy, delicious. Sweet & easy to drink, very nice! Great for the ladies...

Release # 19 - 11.8% ABV This beer has a lot of wine notes to the aroma. Dry chardonnay with some oakiness present. The peach is subtle but present. Some cracker malt and graininess. Light tropical fruit esters and a hint of alcohol. Pours a very clear gold with a thin white head that quickly recedes but clings to the edges. Almost no lacing but some mid sized legs. Flavor is more reminiscent of a fruity white wine. The start does have some sweet cracker malt and a hint of breadiness. After that comes a sweet peach flavor which is followed by the white wine and oak notes. A bit of a tannic note to the beer in the finish with some oak as well. Low alcohol flavor also in the finish. Low bitterness. Finishes very dry. Very light Belgian phenolics. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Medium low alcohol warmth; the alcohol is very well hidden. Low astringency. Overall this is an interesting beer. The peach character is fairly light and more of a secondary note to the wine barrels. I must say the wine character kind of overshadows the rest of the beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great American Beer Festival 2012. Light peaches in the aroma and flavor with oak and dry yeast. The alcohol is surprisingly high, I did not perceive it to be so strong.

Bottle at a Chriso tasting, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream head. Sweaty and pukey pale malt nose, some hay. Big sweet flavor with some peaches and ripe citrus. Full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish with sugary citrus and dumb sweetness. A bit sugary sweet overall. (3.5)
Bottle at the Funky 8, Brooklyn, NYC. Stupidly sweet and boozy. On this go-round I’m not terribly impressed, although I did drink this beer at a massive tasting where lower ABV beers would have been more welcome by yours truly. (2.8)

Bomber. Nose of peach, veggies, honey. Honey-like orange color with lace. Swee at first, with honey, esters, peaches, smooth, low carbonation and full, nice flavor. Nose not near as nice as the flavor. Alcohol well hidden.

From the 11/2012 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was dryish and tangy peach, pepper and Band aid. The flavor was dry, tart and bitter with peach pits, and astringent presence, chalk and band aid. Long, dry, tart, astringent peach. Light body. Eh.

Med Golden color. Malty sweet nose with peaches, oranges and a touch of buscuit. Mouth is smooth, malty a touch sweet, very quaffable and easy to drink for a 10% beer. Lingering peaches, dusty finish. This dangerously drinkable, well made and enjoyable.
