Tap@Mik Vik, Copenhagen (08/07/2022) - black with a beige head. Dark ashy roasted, some burnt malty notes, cocoa and brown sugar, medium plus body, lingering dark malty finish. Solid.

Draft at The Colmore, Birmingham. Poured almost black with an everlasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light liqourice. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, light liqourice, light dank, grassy, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A cross between a stout and a black IPA.

Can 440ml (Alko web)
Opaque colour, big brownish head. Ashy, toasted, a bit coffeish aroma. Medium-bodied. Smooth palate. Coffeish, a bit sweetish with bitterish, chocolaty finish. Good drinkability, easy for its ABV.

Foamy beige head grew in a mahogany coloured body. Malt, biscuit, coal & ashtray aroma. Medium bodied, lively & frothy in the mouth with a clean back. Burnt, malt, roasted, chocolate, coffee & bacon tastes. Lovely beer but a bit of a pig fest.
