Bottle (from KCM Päivölä). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, grainy, floral, some herbal and earthy tones. Flavour is toffee, some floral, herbal, earthy and mild grainy tones with a bit of bready tones too. Mild citrus too. Still quite thin and on the watery side of things.

Bottle 500ml (K-Kamppi). Golden color, small white head. Fruity, grainy aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty, light fruity hoppy flavor. Watery finish. Meh.

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - sweet malt with a lemon tang. Taste - more sweet malt, nuts and honey. A light lemon tang to clear the palate. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a decent example of the style.

Bottle from Aldi, Eccles. Yellow with a thin head. Quite a smooth tasting pale ale with a light lemon aroma and flavour, alongside some grainy notes.

It’s the epitome of a clear, crisp and lightly fruity golden beer which is drinkable and refreshing but ultimately a bit dull.

500ml bottle from Aldi - Clear yellow body, thick white froth on top. Nose is a bit floral, bit of citrus. Sweet on the taste, but has a semi-decent bitter kick on the way out. Medium mouthfeel, a bit fizzy too, but nothing too dramatic. Average ale, refreshing though.

500ml bottle: BB Mar 16. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home in Mar 15. Clear golden body with plenty of carbonation bubbles rising up to the thick, white blanket of tight foam which sat on top. Chilled as the bottle label suggested it had a weak aroma, semi-sweet, yet hoppy also. Good refreshing feel to the flavours, nice blend of hops and maltiness with the hops just about winning in the taste stakes. Clean and hop bitter in the finish: decent and thirst quenching. Thought it had a good feel for a 4.0% ABV brew.

50cl bottle from Aldi. A pale straw colour with a billowing white head; musty corn syrup aroma; thin grainy body; and a sweet finish. No different to any cheap Euro-lager.
