Shared 350 ml bottle, from Aberdeen Country fair. Golden colour. Intense aroma and flavour of lavender and honey. Way too much lavender. Lavender in mead is not a particularly good idea. Not in beer either, by the way. Lavender belongs in soap and perfume.Sorry, won't buy again. Sweet Jebus, this is gross.

0,35 flaske på RBHD-samling, Bjørnøy jan-18: klar gylden uten skum. Sterkt parfymert aroma og smak med lavendel først og sist. Honningsødmen greier ikke å balansere. Boudoir and toilet cleanser. Extremely one-dimentional. Good grief.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Bjørnøy 26.01.18. Perfumy aroma of lavender, sweet gale and toilet cleaning agent. Similar and resiny taste, including the toilet cleaning agent. Lavender: go away!

175ml glass at the Cambridge Beer Festival, 2017. Light gold. Scent of lavender and nettles. Almost perfect but there’s a slight plastic note taking it down a notch or two. Sweet and herbal taste. Long honeyed finish with strong alcohol. One problem I have with mead is the often thin palate, but this is thick and gooey. It’s incredible.

Bottle in Pitlochry. It pours a clear gold. The aroma is soft, fresh, sweet, floral, lavender and parma violets. The taste is soft, mellow, bright, sweet, honey, lavender, parma violets, sherbet and slight acidity. Medium body and light alcohol warmth. Nice balance. Pretty tasty stuff overall.
