Honey balances a lot of the cherry acidity. Addictive funk as always. Intense cherry notes all over.

Bottle from a trade. Thanks Matt! Pours a mostly clear ruby with light orange, amber highlights and a small head that dissipates quickly. Lovely notes of cherry skin, stone and tart cherry flesh with oak, must and cobwebs all present. Rich tart cherry notes on the palate with lingering fruit flesh and skin notes. Drying finish. Stellar.
Hapu, happeline, kirsine. Ok.

0,375l bottle at home. Bottled 10.02.2022. deep red color, small pink head. smells cherries, cherry pits, marzipan, bit grassy, bit funky, light sewer notes. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes cherry notes, cherry pits, lactic, grassy, earthy, bit peppery, leathery, not very juicy. finishes dry and medium sour with notes of pepper, cherry notes and some leathery notes. good stuff overall, rather on the dry / peppery side.

0,75l bottle at home. Bottled 26.11.2020. deep red color, small white head. smells funky, cherry notes, cherry pits, earthy, grassy. nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, salty, cherry notes, peppery, grassy, earthy. finishes dry, salty and lightly sour with notes of salt, citrus and peppery notes. I rather like this one, but it tastes rather heavily salted. Not sure if that is just my perception, or its actually a thing. Definitly takes away from the usual 3f lactic fruit sourness.

C&C 375 mL bottle from the Beer Trappe, 5/10/23. Good to try this especially considering a variant of their kriek is probably the best beer I've ever had. Almost murky red brown, large tan head, poor retention. Aroma of strong funk, earth, pepper, oak, mushroom, dry and tart cherry. Taste is funk, earth, oak, horseblanket, dry cherry, lemon, herbal. Stong tartness. Very nice.
