Very hazy amber beer with a magenta tint. Pale cream colour head, also with a magenta tint! Palate is light and smooth and has a decent fine carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Sweet floralness in to a tangy generic fruits, blueberry slowly raises it’s head. A bare hint of maple. Light floral finish. Jazzy!

330ml bottle from Beer Heroes. Pours amber with a purple hint. Aroma is light blueberries. Taste has a vague American pancake / blueberry muffin feel to it, which could well be the power of suggestion. Blueberries are definitely there, alongside some light toffee. Not massively flavoursome but the elements suggested seem to be about.

Bottle at Craig’s. It pours hazy rose pink with a medium white head. The nose is soft, sweet, ripe blueberry, fruit cake, blueberry muffin and candy. The taste is crisp, bitter – sweet, blueberry muffin, icing sugar, cake, bit of soapy citrus peel and maple syrup. Medium body and moderate carbonation. I was worried that this was going to be a bit too sweet, but the balance works out. Decent stuff.

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Hazy, dark pink. Film, and some bubbles of clingy, off white head. Big on the blueberry. Grapefruit hop. Some sweetness, although I’d not have said maple syrup. Mind you, once it warms, maybe so? Taste is fruity tart. Some sweetness. Clean mouthfeel. Finishes fruity, tart, soft bitter, with a light dry close.
