Cask at the Hope Tap, Reading. Gold with a thin off-white head and a middling fizz. Bit thin maybe, but a good tropical fruit juiciness throughout with a little grapefruit and a mild but lasting bitterness to finish. Decent beer, but well short of Purity’s best.

Cask @ Stick Or Twist, Leeds. Golden with a creamy head. Hoppy, slightly dry tasting with a bitterness alongside its xitrus based tropical fruits. Grapefruit is fairly potent in its nose.
