355 ml bottle, from Ølbutikken (or was it Høkeren?), Copenhagen. Mahogany coloured beer, moderate cream-coloured head. Malty aroma, some woody and caramel notes, also roasty notes with hints of cold coffee, also hints of smoke and chocolate. Rich malty flavour, fairly sweet with notes of caramel and chocolate, also mild roasty notes in the finish, just a touch of smoke, very moderate hops. Pleasant to drink.

Got in trade with a non-Ratebeerian. Pours a clear dark brown. Super thin, off- white head that had a bit of lace down the pint glass. Smell is malty and sweet. Taste is very malty with chocolate malt to include a toffee like flavor. This has a very smooth, light and creamy mouthfeel. Has a certain chugability to it. Kind of slick going down, it just slides down the hatch. Well above average for the style.

0.33l bottle from BrewDog webshop shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a unfiltered deep red/brown body with a thin sidesticking off-white head. Aroma is not extreme. There are dark malty and burned caramel tones combined with some mild nutty-hints. Medium-bodied, it's average carbonated and has a sticky texture. Quite sweet and malty on the flavors. Roasted caramel wrapped in a light acidic and nutty flavor with a really nice bitterness towards the end, and it's leaving a mild sweet caramel-aftertaste. Nice enough.

A 12oz bottle from Chuck’s poured into an English Pint. Small amount of dark white head that dissipates quickly. Dark nut brown in color. Scent is very malty. Caramel and roasted nuts. Can’t smell much from the hops on this one. Something else is there too. Maybe raisins... Taste is light sweet and light bitter. I can taste coffee and some kind of funk on the aftertaste. Medium bodied with a creamy texture, overly fizzy carbonation and a slightly longer than average coffee finish. Overall, I’m not a huge fan of this beer. Maybe it’s because I was expecting a lot for for my first 3F experience or maybe I got a bad bottle. Something here just doesn’t measure up in my book for this to have such a high rating. Hopefully the 3F Arctic Panzer Wolf that I’m going to drink tomorrow will be better.
