0.33 l bottle from ’BierCab’, best before December 2021. Pitch black with a beige layer. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, praline, vanilla and bourbon. Moderately sweet, malty and moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, licorice, bourbon and some praline, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, slightly warming-alcoholic finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, almost flat. Quite nice, but also a bit disappointing. The barrel is quite overwhelming and the body is too thin, overall slightly unbalanced.

Bottle shared. Black with a ring tan head. Aroma of massive bourbon, vanilla, oak barrel, boozy and in you face. Molasses, chocolate, sweet malt, caramel and a little dark fruit with licorice notes bringing up the rear. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Above medium bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation. [20-09-2016]

Thx! for sharing DutchDrebus! Sampled draft @ Van Moll Fest 2016. Black small solid mocha head. Nose is sweet chocolate, mocha, big vanilla & lovely big bourbon. Taste is sweet mocha, thick delicious bourbon, sweet chocolate, great oak, sugar, more sweet vanilla & bourbon. Highly delicious if you like Bourbon BA RIS. This is some awesome stuff, people would go nuts if this was a limited American release.

Bottle thx to Bullit, small sample. Dark color, short head. Aroma of marshmallow, cookie, vanilla, chocolate, bit booze. Sweet chocolate in taste, roasty bitterness, quite some alcohol. Much better than #04, but thats also because I prefer bourbon over whisky.
