Tap at brewpub. Hazy amber color. Not much head. Light wheaty yeasty aroma. Medium-bodied. Messy yeast woody flavor. Sweet and harsh. Maybe not too bad but not maybe what brewer thought.

Keg at the brewpub. The app seems to have deleted my rating, worryingly. Aroma is tart apple, wheat grains, some dishwater, slightly stale wheat grains. Flavour is composed of earthy hay and wheat grains, tangy citrus, tart apple and berry. Palate is grainy on the tongue with highish carbonation. Bit of a weird beer. Alcohol is present on finish. A quick Wikipedia search for cascara tells me it is either a coffee variety or a plant with laxative qualities, and I don’t taste any coffee. :-(

White Hart. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small off white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, mild sweetness. Mild marmalade and orange peel. Trace of what could be cherry. Mild earthyness. Semi dry finish with a touch of hop spice. Very mild sourness. Amusing enough.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a minimal white foam head. The nose holds notes of grainy malts, green pepper, fusels. Light sweet flavor with vague notes of citrus, grains, wheat, hay, leaves, veggies and peppers. Light to medium bodied, softly carbonated. Moderate sweetness to finish with some gummy fruits, orange, damp grains. Not excellent.

Keg at the brewpub. It pours hazy amber with minimal head. The nose is very earthy, wheat, bready, oatcake, cereak, grain, spice and mild banana. The taste is toasty brown bread, cereal, earth, toast, wood, drying, banana bread, mild acidity and oatcake with a dry, cereal-led finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not a whole lot of depth to it. Doesn’t do too much for me.
