Bottle from Beermoth, Northern Quarter, Manchester, consumed at home Sunday 3rd May 2015 Black in colour with a head that swiftly departed, though I never noted the colour of the head before it disappeared. It is roasty with a charred woody end. Interestingly it doesn’t taste like it’s 8.5%. A slightly tart dark berry flavour rings through, some ash, it’s fine. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Mcr beer festival 2015. Heavy cold so couldn’t judge the nose in the environment. Taste is leather, bitter wheat, malt, leather and Brett, coco, sharp coffee. Really delicious beer that had added depth through the Brett, I really enjoyed this festival highlight.

Manchester Beer Festival 2015. Practically black with a frothy head. Strong tasting and a touch sour, with an overbearing roasted malt character.
