Bottle at Dean Swift. Clear amber no head. Sour woody rhubarb aroma. Really interesting aroma. It’s more like a rhubarb jelly. Sweetish. Fine. Good. Lovely.

Bottle share at Bruce’s pad. Murky amber - brown beer, small pale cream head. Palate is airy, mild fine carbonation. Tangy rhubarb, trace of herb. Mellow ginger underneath. Finishes airy. Doesn’t seem that well joined up but it’s okay.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Kenneth. Pours very murky burnished gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds some tangy lemon, melon. Medium sweet flavor with mild sourness, a bit of gritty yeast, earth, some citrus. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with slight lemony tartness, light alcohol, melon, pale bread. OK.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours dirrty pond water with minimal head. The nose is soft, fruity, red apple, rhubarb, candy and earth. The taste is bitter, earth, brett, dirt, spice, drying, ginger, generic fruits and mild acidity with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. More earthy than sour. Not the most refined beer out there.

Tap. Friends of Ham, Leeds. Murky copper colour. No head. Spicy fruits. Light lemon. Soft toffee. Hint of woody sourness. Taste is soft sweet. Light dry. Light tart. Smooth palate. Soft carbonation. Finishes a little dry, and a little tart. Nice sour, albeit not that sour.
