Collaboration with de Hopmannen.

Sampled cask @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2016. Very hazy orange with no head. Nose is grapefruit, orange peel, white grape, touch DE fish guts yeast. Nose is milky white grape apricot, fruit juice, litchi, big stone fruit, faint DE yeast,.. little carbonation, oily. Very nice big fruit, cask treatment worked pretty well, pretty nice fruit quality.

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish fruity hoppy and yeasty aroma, notes of peach, apricot, nectarine, a touch of mango. Taste is moderately sweet wheaty, hoppy and yeasty fruity, notes of banana, peach, apricot, hints of papaya and mango. Too sweet, too clean, lacks some yeasty spcicness as well as hop bitterness to reach the Weizenbock Olymp.

Shared bottle at the December 2015 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting. Misty orange pour with an off-white head. Nose was wheat, citrus fruits and slightly spiced. Taste wise it carried on in the same way, citrusy, fruity and spicy all around a wheat flavoured base. Different and OK in a strange sort of way.
