Playhouse Spoons, Colchester. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate with nice fine carbonation. Smooth malt brings mild sweetness. Hops have a superlight skunk followed by a little marmalade. Light fresh orange and a touch of hop spice. Finishes smooth and semi dry. Decent.

Cask @ Wetherspoons, MK. Here we go, another golden beer. Mid-gold with almost no head. Divine strong aroma of grass and tropical fruit hop. Taste is sweet just short of sickly with some grassy umami thrown in. A tinge of soapiness. Thwaites are creating some wonderful beers lately. I take back what I said about ’another golden beer’. This is anything but.
