Bottle from Marks and Spencer, Bicester, consumed at home Saturday 4th July 2015 Light gold, good clarity a little white head, touch of film. Some citrus on the nose. Nicely bitter, soft in mouth, has the Oakham touch, bitter linger, little furryness. Very nice but not quite up there with the best from Oakham, but at ยฃ1.85 a bottle or 3 for a fiver itโ€™s a great fridge beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Thanks to Ian for the bottle - cheers mate! Bright clear gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with a fine crispness. Smooth pale malts, medium sweet. Hops are a mildly resinous orange with an undertone of bitterish peel. Semi dry and medium bitter finish. Stronger bitter linger. Nice one.

Bottle from M&S, Brixton. It pours clear pale gold with a tiny white head. The nose is soft, fresh, juicy tropical fruits, grapefruit, sweet lemon, mild soap mango, apricot and a touch of white bread. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, juicy citrus, grapefruit, lemon rind, limey notes, peach, straw, dry grass and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. A touch more carbonation would have lifted this. Still rather nice nonetheless. Good, but I prefer Oakhamโ€™s other citra beers.

Bottle at home picked up from Oxford street M&S. Pour a crystal clear bright golden / yellow colour with a reluctant loose white head. Aroma is nice mix of green hop, grassy citrus and hay. Nice little fruit and midget gem notes on the nose as well. Malt profile is semi sweet base grains, earthy hay, and a little honey note. Hops are big a resinous, grassy, a little pithy lemon. Bitterness is big and assertive, slightly rough. Palate is medium bodied, chewy resinous, moderate carbonation. I like the lower carboantion on this, almost could believe it was cask conditioned. Solid. Bags of flavour and poundable.

330ml bottle from M&S Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold with medium white head. Light citrus aroma. Taste is pleasant citrus, clean and easy-going with very light grapefruit & lemon. Not mind-blowing but still a harmless, tasty, Oakham-y IPA.
