Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Manchester. Blonde with a head. Hops, some pale malts, with a heavy bubble-gum sweetness. Mildly fruity too with some orange apparent, but it’s very sugary.

Bottle picked up at Marks & Spencer, Bicester consumed at home Sunday 15th 2015 Hazy gold/orange with white head. Yeasty in mouth, perhaps a tad sweet and little vanilla, spiciness isn’t too hefty. Not bad at all, a Belgian blonde that I would be quite happy to drink. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

33cl Bottle from M&S A’dam, thanks to my in-laws. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of cloves, quite spicy, light fruity, a bit like a Belgian strong blonde ale, yeast and alcohol. Flavour is likewise, not too sweet, nice bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Decent.

330ml bottle from M&S Birmingham New Street I think. Left for a while, only just got round to cracking open. Gusher. Solid, creamy blond with a good yeasty character.

Bottle on the train home from Twickers, from M&S in said place, 29/03/14. Golden with a big old off white covering. Nose is light yeast esters, vanilla essence, floral tones, orange peel, lemon rind. Taste comprises candyfloss, caramel, soft bread dough, light spice, candied fruits, light metallic notes. Medium bodied with a little punch, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough Belgo affair.

Bottle from m&s. Nice floral eatery nose. Esters are a little volatile and later the pilsner malt is more present. Golden colour, slight haze. Fine bubble white foam. Semi dry finish. More esters in the flavour. Some orange. Fine prickly carbonation. Good palate. All round a very well put together beer.
