A heavily hopped pale we occasionally do to finish off some open bags of hops. Different every time but rest assured there's a lot of hops for a 4% beer.

Cask @ Smithfield Tavern, Manchester. This beer has many different blends under the same name. My version was blonde with a thin head. Very hoppy with a mild dryness. Slightly malty in its nose.

Cask at Crate during RBESG 2014 - London. Pours clear yellow with a foamy white head. Not bad overall, some nice biscuity pale malts, lemony hops, bitter straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Some bitter hay on the finish, light dry bready sweetness. Good stuff.

Cask at Crate Brewery, RBESG ’14 day 3, 09/08/14. Clear golden with a well appointed off white covering. Nose is a touch limited, light hop presence, orange pith, candyfloss. Taste comprises juicy citric rinds, orange sherbet, light bread dough, tangerine. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok to decent golden blonde - NOT an APA!

RBESG pt 15. Crate. Cask. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, small off white head. Palate is light and dry with fine carbonation. Light dry malt, trace of banana ester. Hops are mildly bitter floral. Light semi dry finish. Okay.

Cask at Crate. It pours clear golden with a decent white head. The nose is lightly spiced, grass, toast, dough and grain. The taste is bitter, crisp, grass, green hops, brioche, light soap and sherbet with a rather dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Drinkable enough APA.
