Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Slightly hazy amber with a dense cream head; malty aroma; soft malty taste with some apricot jam fruitiness and a biscuity body; there’s some gentle bitterness and a dry finish. Quite a satisfying beer.

Playhouse Spoons, Colchester. Light haze on this amber beer, little cream coloured head. Palate is light with fine carbonation. Semi dry. Sweetish malts, some banana ester underneath. The hops are semi sweet with peach and tangerine with a touch of spice. Interesting and satisfying.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 17 June 2008) Amber colour with lasting, frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of biscuity malt, orange peel and dusty, floral hops. Fruity taste with smooth hints of orange peel, apricots, biscuity malt and floral hops in the finish. Fairly dry, very nice balance. Wouldn’t suffer from a little more bite, but a nice beer.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear amber. Dusty aroma of hay and fruit. medium dry with lovely light chewy malt character. Some caramel and lots of hay-like hops. Fresh and very drinkable with long somewhat resiny bitterness. A top flight bitter in super condition!

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 1/6/08. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of red fruit and cirus hops. Flavour had some sweet malt to begin with, followed by a floral hop finish. Drinkable.

Cask at Mogul, Dover Got a good Cotleigh aroma and feel about this beer. Light copper colour with a good balance of hops and malt. Very well made, light citrus acids and some bready yeastiness. Good beer.
