Amber and a bit hazy. Sweet and a bit bland and caramelly, and doesn’t really deliver much hop character.

Craft - Clerkenwell. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, tidy white head. Smooth palate, fine carbonation. Decent hops, drop of fresh orange. Little marmalade and fresh orange. Mild minerals and a touch of creamy malt. Very drinkable!

Flat looking golden ale with a full tropical fruit aroma, but more of a bitterness for its taste.

Keg at the Euston Tap, London. Pours cloudy, amber-gold with a fine, white cream head. Aroma is all immense peach, melon, mango. Medium sweet with further strong peach and tropical fruits, some lightly toasted pale alts in the background, soft earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, super juicy finish, lots more peach, sugary peach yoghurt, pineapple, watermelon, canteloupe. Quite an interesting beer. Well and fruity. Extremely tasty.

Aroma: Sweet and buttery. Pine notes and a muted pineapple aroma.

Appearance: Clear, deep amber body. Compact beige head. No carbonation. Excellent lacing.

Taste: Sweet malt with a restrained pineapple flavour. Quite peppery. Dry, bitter finish with a hint of spice. Unusual.

Palate: Medium body with a very oily mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.

Overall: An unusual beer - slightly peppery and very oily. It’s pretty tasty, but not very moreish.
