Cask at the John Logie Baird , Hastings. Golden amber with a loose cream head; fruity malty aroma; flavour of blackberries and other autumn fruit, with a body of light biscuity malts; very lightly hopped with a dry fruity finish. Rather ordinary.

On cask at the Corn Exchange in Arbroath. Pours a dark amber to proper brown colour with a good head. The nose has unfortunately a rotten egg or sulphur thing going on - this very stubbornly clears to give a malt and biscuit aroma. The taste is a confusing wishy-washy burnt malt. The pallet showa a decent structure and good texture but there is an unpleasant astringently malty overhang on the end. Overall, disappointing but I wonder how much of this is ffdown to the handling of cask by the staf.
